I (Chaz) am a playwright/lit manager/dramaturg/future theater company founder, and I know just as well as you do that there simply isn’t enough time in the day/human life expectancy to write all the plays you want to write. In the spirit of community-over-competition, I’ve started this newsletter to share some of the ideas for play subjects that I don’t have time to write but really, really want someone to write so I can read/see it.

There will also be general/philosophical thoughts about theater, and almost certainly some musings on the economic structure of theater (and, more specifically, how we might think about redesigning it).
